Most current tools in the music industry focus on performance (streams, followers, etc.). But what about the basics that actually enable top performance of an artist’s catalogue in the first place?
Over the past few months, I've developed an evaluation system for Artist Catalogue Exploitation Status. The focus is on the fundamental pillars:
✅ Availability (Are formats and platforms synchronized?)
🔍 Discoverability (Are platform service features being used?)
🏅 Quality (Is the best possible digital audio quality being delivered?)
For this, I created a proprietary system that analyzes publicly available data (Thanks, Soundcharts API!) to measure gaps and potentials. The Result: Nearly every check reveals untapped potential, especially in larger and older catalogues.
Healthcheck provides a comprehensive view, a self-developed, self-service dashboard that bundles all the data points. Alongside digital platform analysis, it also includes e.g. potential analysis for vinyl reissues.
